The main body was built from hewn and largely layered field stones . In the southern wall of the nave there is a segment-arched window in the middle, the walls of which are framed with red brick. To the left of this are the clearly smaller remains of a window that has meanwhile been blocked with field stones. On the right is a plastered, square extension with a simple saddle roof and small branch towers on the southern gable side. At the transition from the roof ridge of the extension to the choir , the remains of a comparable, clogged window can also be seen on the wall of the nave. The choir is straight and made of fieldstone up to the eaves. The original three window group no longer exists. Rather, an ogival panel was installed that extends from the choir to the plastered gable. There are two windows in the choir wall and a cross in the gable. The north wall of the nave is comparatively simple: three windows, enlarged in Baroque style , which were framed with reddish brick. A surrounding frieze separates the nave from the gable roof covered with black tiles.

The transverse rectangular west tower takes up the entire width of the nave. It was also built up to the height of the eaves of the nave of largely carefully hewn and layered field stones. The part above was built in 1913 from plastered masonry, into which several narrow openings were made. The upper, middle tower floor rises above a transversely set gable roof with further, segment-arched openings. Above it is a pyramid roof covered with copper , which ends with a tower ball and weather vane . The tower is entered from the west through a double-stepped portal, which is set in field stones. Above it are two narrow and rectangular windows. The year 1913 of the last renovation is affixed on the upper floor.

Furnishing

The neo-Gothic pulpit dates from 1887. Behind the altar are two paintings from the 18th century showing the crucifixion of Christ and the descent from the cross. The organ on the west gallery was built by Friedrich Hermann Lütkemüller in 1887. The inside of the structure is flat.
