architecture

View from the northeast

The structure was mainly built from field stones . These are partially carved and layered in layers. On the south side of the nave, three massive, triangular buttresses made of masonry bricks ensure stability. In between there is a baroque, enlarged, segment-arch-shaped window with a plastered fascia . This reveal was made from bricks , as the viewer can see from a repaired point on the middle window. The same applies to the two portals , which are located to the left of the middle window and to the east window. The choir is straight and provided with a narrow group of three windows, the middle window of which is blocked. Here, too, the reveal was made of brick. The lines of the field stones run in the gable . The northern wall of the nave was built from layered field stones - unusually without any windows. Repair work with masonry bricks and granite splinters can be seen. There is no evidence of any previous openings. The west tower is made of plastered bricks in the same width as the nave. The corners are emphasized with pilaster strips . Access is via a simple, rectangular portal. Next to it are one on the left and two on the right, likewise simple and rectangular windows. In the basement , these are the only openings. Four sound arcades are built into the tower floor , which is also plastered , with the one to the east being smaller and higher. The pyramid roof is covered in black and ends with a tower ball and weather vane .

Furnishing

Inside there is a wooden pulpit altar from the first half of the 18th century. The basket is decorated with pillars; the cheeks with acanthus and putti . The west gallery was built in the middle of the 18th century. A sacrament niche is also built into the choir . The building has a wooden barrel vault .
