The small hall church was built in the 15th or 16th century. The first known date on one of the tombstones behind the altar is the year 1607. The year 1753, which is no longer recognizable in the meantime, is said to have stood on a window above the crypt built in 1753 in the south. At the pews dating 1761 has been preserved.

The rectangular nave has a hipped roof on which a slate-covered square roof turret rises, on which a six-sided dome sits. In it hang two bells , one made of bronze, the other made of steel.

In the middle of the 18th century the interior was redesigned in baroque style in several steps . A pulpit altar was installed. The two putti , which serve as shield holders , are made of paper mache , as are parts of the decorations on the side panels of the altar structure. At the height of the pulpit stand in the middle Christ with the globe, on the left Moses with the tablets of the law and on the right John the Evangelist . About the cafeteria that's Last Supper shown. Patronage boxes are located on both sides . To the right of the altar is the parish chair . The confessional on the left was removed in favor of a more accessible staircase to the pulpit .

The room is surrounded by a horseshoe-shaped single-storey gallery on which the organ stands in the west . The wooden beam ceiling is plastered and sparingly provided with stucco . Above the organ you can still see that it was once painted in color. The octagonal baptismal font comes from the construction time and was restored in 1911.

The small organ, which contains older parts of a previous instrument, dates from the 19th century according to its disposition . The prospectus was built in the 2nd half of the 18th century. In 2007 the Schönefeld company repaired the instrument.
