description

The hall church was built in the first half of the 15th century. The nave is closed with a three-sided choir of the same width. The slate roof tower rises above it . It starts out in a square and continues with an eight-sided essay that houses the tower clock . On top of it sits a bulbous hood that tapers to the tower ball . A church bell , which was cast in 1444, hangs in the roof tower . The church was renovated in 1714 and 1802. The year 1802 is written above the portals in the south and west. Two Gothic tracery windows have been preserved, while the other windows have been renewed. The interior has one- story , three-sided galleries and is covered with a smooth plastered flat ceiling, which is provided with stucco . The pulpit altar from 1802 is still decorated as in the Rococo period . It is crowned with an eye of providence . The passages for sacristy enter the letters alpha and omega . A baptismal font , created around 1800, stands on balusters . The organ with 10 registers , divided into a manual and a pedal , was built by Johann Georg Fincke in 1753 , rebuilt by Daniel Adolf Poppe and restored in 2012 by Schönefeld Organ Builders.
