Doris Distelmaier-Haas

Doris Distelmaier-Haas (born February 18, 1943 as Doris Haas in Bonn ) is a German writer and artist .

Life

Doris Distelmaier-Haas grew up in Bonn and studied Romance and English at the University of Bonn . She completed her studies with the state examination; 1970 doctorate it with a work about Stephane Mallarme for Doctor of Philosophy . She then completed an artistic training at the art academies in Perugia and Salzburg . Today she lives in Bonn as a freelance writer, visual artist and lecturer at the Andreas Hermes Academy in Bonn .

Doris Distelmaier-Haas is the author of prose texts and poems , she also translates from French .

Doris Distelmaier-Haas belongs to the Association of German Writers and is press spokeswoman for the regional group North Rhine-Westphalia South of this association. She is also a member of the Leipzig- based Society for Contemporary Poetry and the Bonn artist group .
