Dorsfeld is a part of the Kerpen district of Blatzheim in the Rhein-Erft district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

location

Dorsfeld is located north of Blatzheim and Bergerhausen directly on the Cologne-Aachen railway line . The Steinheide is on the other side of the railway. The place was once only surrounded by fields, but is now bordered by a gravel pit to the east and south. House Dorsfeld, a little south of the city, also belongs to Dorsfeld.

Dorsfeld is a small, rural hamlet and basically consists of 5 farms, but not all of them are managed.

history

Dorsfeld was mentioned for the first time in the 11th century. In the 14th century the place came into the possession of the von Bergerhausen family and at the end of the 14th century it became the property of the Cologne monastery of St. Maria ad Gradus . In 1489, Johann von Harff finally acquired Dorsfeld.
