Bergerhausen is a district of the Kerpen district of Blatzheim in the Rhein-Erft district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

Bergerhausen lies between Blatzheim in the southwest and Manheim-neu in the northeast. The place has grown together with Blatzheim. The district road 55 runs through the village and the Neffelbach flows on the southern edge of the village .
Townscape
Bergerhausen is a rural street village surrounded by fields . The only attraction is the Bergerhausen moated castle .
history
Bergerhausen was first mentioned in a document in 1291 and has always been part of Blatzheim on both a church and communal level. Bergerhausen Castle, located on the outskirts, was built around 1200. It is the only surviving of the three former castles in Bergerhausen.
