Dragiša Blagojević , ( Cyrillic : Драгиша Благојевић; born January 1, 1966 in Tuzla ) is a Montenegrin chess player who has held the title of grandmaster since 2005 .

At the Yugoslav championships he shared the second to fifth place behind Božidar Ivanović in 1996 and was tied with Dejan Pikula and Miloš Pavlović in 2002.

He won the championships of Montenegro in 2000, 2002 (shared with Nikola Sedlak and Dragan Kosić ), 2003 (shared with Dragan Kosić), 2005 and 2007.

He has regularly participated in team fights in Yugoslavia and Montenegro as well as at European level, for example he was Bosnian team champion in 2007 with ŠK Željezničar Sarajevo .

Internationally, Blagojević was able to surprisingly succeed as a player without an Elo number at the Mladi-A tournament in Prague with 6 out of 9 behind Eduard Meduna on the second place shared with Vladimir Ochotnik . The tournament in Tuzla in 1990 he and Stanislaw Savchenko were able to win 9.5 out of 13 each. At the 1997 Tivat tournament he finished third with 6.5 out of 11 behind Andrij Sontach and Boro Miljanic. The 7th individual championship of the Republika Srpska 2001 he was able to win with 8 out of 11 together with Zoran Runic and Miodrag Savic. At the Open Mimoza 2002 he shared second to seventh place behind Petar Genow. Behind Suat Atalık he finished second at the 3rd Subasic Memorial in Zenica 2004 with 7 out of 9. Behind Alexandar Deltschew , he shared second to third place with Wadym Schyschkin at the Veselin Boskovic Memorial 2005. He and Dusan Lekić won the open 1st Danilo Dajo Batricevic Memorial in Montenegro in 2008 with 6.5 out of 9 each.

In the Chess Olympiad 2008 in Dresden Blagojević received by 8 points from 9 games the gold medal for the best performance of board 4, in addition he took the Montenegrin team also at the Chess Olympiads in 2010 , 2012 and 2014 and the European Team Championships 2007, 2009, 2011 , 2013 and 2015.

His low loss rate makes him a safe player.
