There they set up a prayer house in 1626 , which was expanded into a church in 1638–1645 . It was demolished in 1777 and rebuilt in 1778. The tower was preserved, it was renewed in 1854 when the church was being renovated.

description

The rectangular hall church with its church tower on a square floor plan in the south was, contrary to custom, oriented to the north. The three- axis nave is covered with a slate hipped roof. The upper storey of the tower was also clad with slate . On top of it sits an eight-sided attachment with the tower clock , which is covered with a bulbous dome that merges into an open lantern , which is crowned by a tower ball . Three church bells hang in the tower . Among them is a very small one made of bronze, which dates from the time the church was built and was cast by Andreas Limmer from Kronach. The other two bells were cast from steel in 1923.

The interior has two-storey galleries and is covered with a flat ceiling in the manner of a mirror vault, in which a large star ornament is drawn. The baroque pulpit altar comes from Seibelsdorf , where it was no longer needed due to a church renovation. It shows angels and cherubs as ornaments and is crowned with a crucifix . There are also figures of the four evangelists and a number of apostles . At the side are life-size figures of saints who are older. They come from the old church furnishings from 1645. The room is closed off by a flat ceiling. The first organ was built by the organ builder Trampeli . It was made in 1916 by an EF Walcker & Cie. replaced. This has 9 registers , which are distributed over 2 manuals and pedal .
