Dreiviertelblut is a band from Upper Bavaria . The band describes their music as "folklore-free folk music ".
history
In 2012 the Bananafishbones singer Sebastian Horn and the film composer Gerd Baumann founded the music group Dreiviertelblut. The first songs of the later group were already in 2009 with the soundtrack for the movie Sau number four. A Lower Bavaria thriller by the German director Max Färberböck was created. Baumann and Horn worked more closely together with a positive response. New songs have been recorded for the next Max Färberböck crime thriller Paradies 505. A Niederbayern thriller . On October 11, 2013, Dreiviertelblut released their debut album Lieder vom Unterholz on Millaphon Records .
The first live inquiries were made in 2014. Horn and Baumann played with musician friends at the beginning of August 2014 at the 2nd Heimatsound Festival in the Passionstheater Oberammergau . Dreiviertelblut played for the German crime writer Robert Hältner during his reading to his book Tödliches Bayern in the Milla Club. At the end of July 2016, Dreiviertelblut performed for the second time at the Heimatsound Festival. The song Ned nur mia was written for the rally “WE. Voices for Refugees ”on October 11, 2015 at Munich's Königsplatz . On October 7, 2016, the second album Finsterlieder was released on Millaphon Records. The album was presented together with the Munich Symphony Orchestra on October 8th in the Prinzregententheater to over a thousand enthusiastic listeners. Dreiviertelblut then started the Finsterlieder tour with performances all over Bavaria.
The album Diskothek Maria Elend was presented with guest musicians on October 2, 2018 in the Munich Circus Krone as a prelude to a subsequent tour.
The group provided the soundtrack for the television series Der Beischläfer .
