The Drzewiczka is a right tributary of the Pilica in the Łódź Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the river system of the Vistula .
geography
The Drzewiczka rises near the village of Głęboka Droga in the Garb Gielniowski mesoregion near the border of the Świętokrzyskie and Mazovia voivodeships . It initially flows in a westerly direction, but then turns to the northwest, enters the Łódź Voivodeship , leaves the city of Opoczno , where the approximately 30-kilometer-long Wąglanka flows into it from the left , and crosses Droga krajowa 12 here , continues to flow North-east past Drzewica and further in a north-northeast direction, where the Droga krajowa 48 is crossed at Odrzywół , and further north to the confluence with the Pilica at Wolka Magierka opposite the town of Nowe Miasto nad Pilicą . The length of its course is 81.3 kilometers, the catchment area is given as 1089.9 km².
The Drzewiczka is a well-known kayaking area, especially in its lower reaches (from Drzewica) (navigable from Wola Załężna).
