Reviews
In the Visions it says about the lyrics: “Tomte don't get lost in the intellectually tangled abstraction, rather they tell stories from their little world [...]” and about the music: “A little anger. And fear. And noise. TOMTE rock, straightforward, without leading a discourse. ”.
Karl-Heinz Stille writes for PLOT : "With youthful recklessness, which we all still have, enthusiasm is not difficult!"
In Komm Kiss it says: "[Tomte] understand [...] how to get to the heart of things in their songs and to achieve depth."
The album is described as follows on indigo.de: “Musically, Tomte actually seems to close a circle between the two decisive developments in German-language music. So they combine the attitude and sound of punk à la Boxhamsters or dachshund blood with the Hamburg school à la Tocotronic . ”And further:“ Here there is noise and anger and the really big emotional cinema. ”
Trivia
The pieces Reality TV , Rainy Season , Stille Wasser are deep and dreams are sung by Christian Stemmann; Thees Uhlmann is at the microphone for the remaining songs .
The track Pantera is named after the American metal band Pantera of the same name . In the piece it says: "I don't want to have to listen to a Pantera anymore, because I've been yelled at often enough."
