Ducks & Friends is a talk show of Disney Channel , which will be hosted by Nova Meier Henrich. In it everything revolves around the world of Duckburg .

Meierhenrich speaks to prominent guests about her first encounter with Disney . The illustrator Ulrich Schröder creates a portrait of the guest during the broadcast, which is presented at the end of the broadcast. The guest may not be shown his portrait beforehand.
In Disney Almanac Meier Henrich and the guest look for when passersby ask questions. In addition, a game was often played that involves guessing an object or character from Duckburg that is described by passers-by.
An integral part of the program are video clips from Disney programs such as DuckTales - News from Duckburg or Quack Pack - Uncle D. and the Boys . The episodes were divided into several parts and shown as a story during the broadcast. There is also a profile that introduces the character discussed in the program. These clips are voiced by Roman Wolko .
At the end of each episode there is a drawing course in which Schröder and the guest draw a familiar figure within a minute and 30 seconds. The guests' works are compared with those of Schröder and then stored in the studio.
Studio equipment
The studio is a loft in which the sofa plays a central role. Talks with guests take place here. Behind the sofa is an "aerial view" of Duckburg, which is supposed to simulate a view from the window behind a glass wall.
Schröder is sitting at his drawing table away from the sofa, at the front right corner of the studio as seen by the audience. Next to him on the right wall is a television which often serves to create the transition between the clip and the studio. In addition, there are individual portraits, such as B. by Dagobert Duck or Donald Duck in the studio on the walls.
The shooting takes place in the studios of Bavaria Studios & Production Services GmbH , near Munich , in Geiselgasteig , a district of Grünwald .
Charisma
From January 18, 2014, all 13 episodes produced were shown every Saturday after the film shown and before the Muppet Show . The repetition, which was always shown after The Muppet Show on Sunday at midnight, was abandoned after 7 episodes.
After the end of the first broadcast, episodes 1, 4, 5, 2 and 6 were repeated on Saturdays after April 12, 2014 without showing a repetition. The broadcast ended on May 24, 2014.
