The Dudváh (German Dudwaag , Hungarian Dudvág ) is a 97 km long right tributary of the Waag in western Slovakia . The river has its source at a height of about 590 m in the corridor of the village of Stará Turá. The course of the river is divided into two parts: the Horný Dudváh rises in the Little Carpathians west of the Častkovce municipality . Then it flows south in the Danube hill country . Since it runs parallel to the east-flowing Waag River, the Dudváh has only right tributaries and thus drains the eastern slope of the Little Carpathians.

The river divides at Siladice : while the Horný Dudváh flows into the Waag there, the Dolný Dudváh branches off just before it flows into it . He takes other right tributaries, z. B. Trnávka or Gidra , and continues to flow south. It flows through the town of Sládkovičovo before flowing into the Čierna voda near Kráľov Brod . The Čierna voda then flows into the Little Danube , which in turn flows into the Waag at Kolárovo .
