The Dundretkullen in Gällivare is a former normal hill of the category K 90. It is located directly on the Dundret mountain .

history

The Dundretkullen was based on plans by 1988, was where still forecasting a K-70 ski jump to 1990 to supplement the Hellnerstadion built, cross-country skiing stadium Gällivares, and found his first and only international use in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 1995 in which the Norwegian Tommy Ingebrigtsen won in the individual and in the team competition Germany.

In 2002 the Swedish Championships took place on the hill, after which it was only used as a training hill for special jumpers in winter or as a venue for the B-World Cup of Nordic combined .

After the ski jumpers from Gällivare moved to the ski jumping center in Koskullskulle to Koskullskulle AIF and the club stopped operating in Gällivare in favor of its own ski jump, Frejabacken , Dundretkullen is increasingly falling into disrepair. In addition, the facility was badly damaged by vandalism and the deposition of rubbish and debris and is now seen as an environmental burden in the nature reserve. Efforts and plans to renovate the ski jump and make it usable again have so far failed due to the financial resources.
