The Dunières (in the upper reaches: Dunerette ) is a river in France that runs in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the Pilat Regional Nature Park , in the municipality of Saint-Régis-du-Coin , first drains in a south-westerly direction, then swings to the west and, after 42 kilometers, flows into the Lignon du Velay as a right tributary in the municipality of Les Villettes . On its way, the Dunières crosses the Loire and Haute-Loire departments .
