Dzielnica XII Bieżanów-Prokocim is the twelfth district of Krakow in Poland , it covers an area of ​​18.47 km² and has 63,277 inhabitants with a population density of 3425 inhabitants / km². The two places Bieżanów and Prokocim gave it its name .

The district is located southwest of the old town and south of the Vistula. It was created in 1990 by dividing the Podgórze district .
