Dzielnica V Krowodrza is the fifth district of Krakow in Poland , it covers an area of 5.62 km² and has 30,184 inhabitants with a population density of 770.4 inhabitants / km². It is named after the place Krowodrza .
The district was created in 1973 through the unification of the previous city districts of Zwierzyniec and Kleparz and also included Mydlniki and Olszanica in the west, which were incorporated into Krakow that year. It had an area of 70.2 km² and in 1990 had 160,000 inhabitants, but was then divided into four smaller districts. Before 2006 the addition of Łobzów was considered in the name, but in the end it was added with Krowodrza .

Until 1990, the administrative district of Krowodrza also included today's districts of Prądnik Biały , Bronowice and Zwierzyniec . Until 2006, the city district V had the name Łobzów . District V now has an area of 5.62 km² and 30,184 inhabitants (2019). In addition to the southern part of Krowodrza (the part north of the railway line is in the Prądnik Biały district), it includes the former places or settlements:

- Czarna Wieś
- Łobzów
- Miasteczko Studenckie AGH
- Nowa Wieś
