Dzielnica VII Zwierzyniec is the seventh district of Krakow in Poland , it covers an area of 28.73 km² and has 20,555 inhabitants with a population density of 715.5 inhabitants / km² - it is the most sparsely populated of the Krakow districts . The town is named after Zwierzyniec , which was incorporated into Krakow in 1910.
In 1954 a reorganization into six municipal districts was introduced, the municipality called Zwierzyniec comprised several localities north of the Vistula around the Wolski forest and had an area of 30.6 km² and in 1960 106.00 inhabitants. In 1973 the districts of Zwierzyniec and Kleparz were merged to create the district of Krowodrza. The city district emerged again in 1990.
