The European Small Nations Squash Tournament (ESNST) was a competition between the small nations of the European squash sport that was held within a tournament . It was an official event of the European squash federation, the European Squash Federation (ESF).

history

For ambitious athletes from smaller countries it can be very difficult to reach an international level, as there are no competitive opportunities. For this reason, the games of the small states of Europe was founded, initially without squash . Therefore, the associations of Andorra , Cyprus , Monaco and Luxembourg decided to set up a comparable event. The tournament was first held by these nations in Cyprus in 1989. In 1991, four other nations took part in the second edition of the tournament. During the event, the delegates of the federal states decided to organize the tournament annually from now on. The last event took place in 2009, as squash was included in the competition program of the games of the small states of Europe.
