Eboldshausen is a district of the municipality Kalefeld in the district of Northeim , Lower Saxony .

The village is located on the western edge of the Harz Mountains southwest of Kalefeld and west of the Bierberg near the A7 .

history

A first mention dating back to 1141, when the monastery Northeim one hooves country Alboldishusen or Alwoldishusen possessed can, also to a Ortswüstung † Alboldeshausen in Boyneburg relate. The first written mention of Eboldshausen comes from the year 1226 as Helboldeshusen .

Eboldshausen was incorporated into the municipality of Kalefeld on March 1, 1974.
