Eduard Hauser (politician)
Eduard Hauser (born October 19, 1928 in Weigheim , † August 9, 2010 in Trossingen ) was a German politician ( Die Republikaner ). From 1996 to 2001 he was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .
After finishing school in Weigheim, he began an apprenticeship as a watchmaker at the precision engineering school in Schwenningen in 1943 . In 1944 he interrupted his training and was drafted as an air force helper in 1945 and in the army in 1945 . In 1947 he attended the higher commercial school in Calw and then finished his apprenticeship at the precision engineering school in Schwenningen. After completing his studies at the Technical College in Esslingen , he became a qualified engineer (FH) for precision engineering and mass production. From 1951 he was managing director and from 1953 to 1998 personally liable partner of the watch factory Gebr. Hauser in Weigheim.
For more than 35 years Hauser was a local councilor, after the local reform, local councilor in Weigheim. He used to be a member of the FDP before joining the Republicans in 1987. With this party he was district chairman of the district associations Schwarzwald-Baar and Tuttlingen and member of the district executive committee of South Baden. In the state elections in 1996 , he was able to win a second mandate in constituency 55 Tuttlingen-Donaueschingen and thus move into the state parliament. He was a member of the state parliament from April 15, 1996 to May 31, 2001 and during this time also the age president of the state parliament.
Founder of two citizens' groups. Honorary Chairman of FC Weigheim. Collaboration in the Living Clock Industry Museum in Schwenningen. DAV and VDI member.
