Eduard Horak
Eduard Horak (born April 22, 1838 in Holitz , Bohemia , † December 16, 1893 in Riva del Garda ) was an Austrian piano teacher and founder of a private music school in Vienna .
Horak founded the Horak Music Schools in Vienna in 1867, which were elevated to the rank of conservatoire in 1940 and renamed the Franz Schubert Conservatory in 1979 . Numerous later famous musicians began their training here. In addition to the music schools in Vienna, he also founded branch institutes in Baden and Bad Vöslau .
