Eduard Tenschert

Eduard Tenschert (born April 18, 1912 in Linz , † March 19, 2003 in Kufstein ) was an Austrian painter .

Life

Eduard Tenschert studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Wilhelm Dachauer , at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Karl Caspar and at the Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main with Scholz. After the Second World War he lived in Tyrol, initially in Fügen , from 1956 to 1973 in Hopfgarten im Brixental and from 1973 until his death in 2003 in Kufstein .

Tenschert created landscapes and portraits in oil and watercolor as well as figural wall paintings on public buildings in the Tyrolean lowlands .
