Edward James Philbin (born August 7, 1932 in New York City ; died January 12, 2014 in Denver , Colorado ) was an American military and government official.

Life

Edward J. Philbin attended Immaculata High School . From September 1952 to June 1957 Edward J. Philbin studied at San Diego State College and earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He then worked at General Dynamics - Convair . From November 1957 to December 1959 he did his active military service as a bomber navigator in the US Air Force . Philbin left the Air Force as a lieutenant and worked again at General Dynamics-Corsair or -Astronautics until June 1966 and also studied from 1959 to 1962 at the University of California and then until June 1965 at the University of San Diego Law School and achieved one Juris Doctor with Summa Cum Laude .

From June 1966 to June 1970 he was a partner in the law firm Hecsh, Hebner & Philbin.
