Efstratios "Stratos" Grivas ( Greek Ευστράτιος "Στράτος" Γρίβας , born March 30, 1966 in Egio ) is a Greek chess player .

He won the Greek championship twice: 1983 and 1996. He played for Greece in eight Chess Olympiads : 1984 to 1998 . He also took part in three European team championships (1989 to 1997) and seven times in the Chess Balkans (1985 to 1994).

In 1984 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). He was awarded the title of Grand Master (GM) in 1993. Since 2005 he has held the title of FIDE Senior Trainer . As a chess trainer, for example, Grivas trained Alexander Ipatov .
