Egg is a district of the market in Pfeffenhausen in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1978 it formed an independent municipality.

Geography and transport links

The place is southeast of the core town of Pfeffenhausen on the LA 41. The LA 12 runs to the east and the B 299 to the west . The Kleine Laber has its source not far to the north .

history

Egg and Stollnried formed the chairmanship of Egg and Stollnried in the Pfeffenhausen office of the Rottenburg court . The municipality of Egg, which was established in 1818, belonged to the district court of Rottenburg and included the places Attenberg, Burghart, Dürnwind, Egg, Fraunhof, Hagenburg, Limbach, Osterwind, Sachsenhausen, Steig and Wolfau. In 1868 the community had 183 inhabitants, the hamlet of Egg 46 inhabitants. From 1862 the community was part of the district office, since 1939 of the district of Rottenburg an der Laaber . On May 1, 1978, it was incorporated into the Pfeffenhausen market as part of the regional reform in Bavaria .
