history

The silver badge of honor, which is worn on the left side of the chest of the entrusted person, shows the embossed coat of arms of Rhineland-Palatinate and a stylized laurel branch pointing upwards on the left .

Right of proposal

In principle, every citizen can apply for the award for someone else. Applications for the award can be directed to district administrators, the mayor and the president of the supervisory and service directorate.
