nature and environment

The area of the headwaters is designed as a water protection area . All around are pastures , behind which the dense forest belt joins the mountain ranges.

history

Above the source towards the country road, there is the Kirchküppel , a small wood ; Until the Thirty Years' War , the exited village of Obernhain was there. It is no longer possible to determine whether there was a church there. It was probably a small hamlet with individual houses, located directly on the 3337 road.
