Elín Metta Jensen (born March 1, 1995 ) is an Icelandic soccer player who has been in the squad of the first division team Valur Reykjavík since 2010 .

Career

In the club

Elín Metta started playing football at Valur Reykjavík as a child . Between 2006 and 2013 she was in the club's youth teams and scored a total of 198 goals in 116 missions. She first attended the Háteigsskóli in Reykjavík and graduated from the Menntaskólinn í Reykjavík in spring 2015 with a university entrance qualification. In 2014 Elín Metta was an advertising vehicle for the sporting goods supplier Nike .

On July 13, 2010, Elín Metta made her debut for Valur Reykjavík in the Pepsi-deild kvenna , the Icelandic top division, at the age of 15 years and 134 days ; She crowned the 7-2 win over Haukar Hafnarfjörður with her goal to make it 5-2. In the same year, the Icelander won the Icelandic championship with the club, and she was able to celebrate winning the Icelandic Cup with the team in 2010 and 2011 . On July 24, 2010, the attacker made her debut in the U-17 national team ; Elín Metta contributed three goals to the 8-0 victory over the Faroe Islands. By April 2012, Elín Metta had scored 17 goals in 14 games for the U-17 juniors.
