2012 Icelandic Women's Football Championship
The Icelandic Women's Football Championship 2012 (officially Pepsi -deild kvenna 2012 ) was the 41st season of the Icelandic top division in women's football . It started on May 13, 2012 and ended on September 8, 2012 with the 18th matchday. The syndicate " Þór / KA ", consisting of the clubs Þór Akureyri and KA Akureyri , won the championship ahead of ÍB Vestmannaeyjar and qualified for the round of 32 of the 2013/14 UEFA Women's Champions League . Fylkir Reykjavík and KR Reykjavík had to go to the 1st deild kvenna .
