The Icelandic Women's Football Championship 1980 ( Icelandic 1. deild kvenna ) was the ninth edition of the Icelandic top division in women's football . It started on June 2, 1980 and ended on July 24, 1980. Four teams met in a simple round-robin tournament . The defending champion Breiðablik Kópavogur won the Icelandic championship for the third time.
