The Icelandic Women's Football Championship 1981 ( Icelandic 1. deild kvenna ) was the tenth edition of the Icelandic top division in women's football . It started on May 29, 1981 and ended on August 21, 1981. Eight teams met in a double round tournament . The defending champion Breiðablik Kópavogur won the Icelandic championship for the fourth time.
