The Icelandic Women's Football Championship 1976 ( Icelandic 1. deild kvenna ) was the fifth edition of the Icelandic top division in women's football . It started on May 23, 1976 and ended on July 25, 1976. Five teams met in a double round tournament . The defending champion FH Hafnarfjörður won the Icelandic championship for the fourth time.
