The Icelandic Women's Football Championship 1987 ( Icelandic 1. deild kvenna ) was the 16th edition of the highest Icelandic division in women's football . It started on May 29, 1987 and ended on August 31, 1987. Eight teams met in a double round tournament . ÍA Akranes won the Icelandic Championship for the third time.
