The Icelandic Women's Football Championship 1984 ( Icelandic 1. deild kvenna ) was the 13th edition of the Icelandic top division in women's football . It started on May 31, 1984 and ended on August 25, 1984 with the final between ÍA Akranes and Þór Akureyri (4-1). The preliminary round, which was held in two groups in the double round tournament , was assessed for the first time according to the three-point rule. ÍA Akranes won the Icelandic Championship for the first time.
