Elie Konki (* 6. April 1992 in Meulan-en-Yvelines ) is a French professional boxer in the bantamweight . As an amateur, he participated in the 2016 Olympic Games .

Amateur career

Elie Konki trained at Club Boxing Amical Les Mureaux and was French flyweight youth champion in 2009 and 2010. He was also a finalist in the eighth European Youth Championships in 2009 in Poland and quarter-finalists U22 European Championships 2012 in Russia .

Among the adults it was 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015 French champion flyweight and won the silver medal at the European Championships 2014 in Bulgaria . In addition, he participated in the preliminary round of the 2013 World Championships in Kazakhstan , was the round of 16 of the 2015 European Games in Azerbaijan , and was quarter-finalist of the 2011 European Championships in Turkey , the 2015 European Championships in Bulgaria and the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Turkey.

In April 2016 he took part in the European Olympic qualification in Turkey and defeated the Turkish Hakan Çiğdem in the first fight, but then was eliminated with 1: 2 against the Irish Brendan Irvine . Professional career

He won his professional debut on October 14, 2017 in Paris against his undefeated compatriot Santiago San Eusebio. In November 2018 he won the French bantamweight championship against Benedikt Croze and defended the title in February 2019 against Anthony Chapat and in July 2019 against Sebastian Iacobas.
