Liesel Jakobi
Elisabeth "Liesel" Jakobi , married Luxenburg (born February 28, 1939 in Saarbrücken ), is a former German athlete who won the gold medal in the long jump at the 1958 European Championships (5.99 - invalid - 5.63 - 5.85 - 6th place) , 14 m - invalid). She started at these European Championships for the Federal Republic in a joint German team.
For this she was awarded the silver bay leaf on August 20, 1958.

- 1959, long jump: 2nd place; Indoor championships, long jump: 1st place
- 1960, long jump: 3rd place; Indoor championships, 50 meters: 1st place (6.4 s)
- 1963 (under the name Luxenburger), long jump: 3rd place; Indoor championships, 60 meters: 1st place (7.6 s).
Jakobi started for the sports club ATSV Saarbrücken .
