Elisabeth Trissenaar
Elisabeth Trissenaar (born April 13, 1944 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress who lives in Berlin .
Life
Trissenaar's father was the Dutchman Frans Trissenaar. After studying at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, her first engagement took place in the ensemble of the Stadttheater Bern in 1964. From 1972 to 1981 , she traveled through Krefeld, Heidelberg, Bochum and Stuttgart to the Schauspielhaus Frankfurt , where she had great success as Nora, Hedda Gabler and Medea, among others .
During this time she began working with Rainer Werner Fassbinder , under whose direction she worked in films such as Bolwieser , The Marriage of Maria Braun , In a Year with 13 Moons and in the film adaptation of Alfred Döblin's Berlin Alexanderplatz . She played leading roles in Robert van Ackeren's The Other Smile and The Purity of the Heart, as well as in the Oscar- nominated film Bitter Harvest and in Xaver Schwarzenberger's Franza.
Elisabeth Trissenaar is married to the director Hans Neuenfels , with whom she has a son, the cameraman Benedict Neuenfels .
