Elise Malmberg (* 13. July 1995 ) is a Swedish athlete , referring to the 400-meter hurdles specialized, but also in the long jump and heptathlon reported successes.

Career

In 2011 Elise Malmberg took part in her first international championships, the World Youth Championships in Lille , where she finished fifth in the heptathlon. In 2012 she was eliminated from the long jump qualification at the Junior World Championships in Barcelona . In 2013, she took sixth place in the long jump at the Junior European Championships in Rieti and was eliminated from over 100 meter hurdles in the preliminary run. In 2014 she finished eighth in the long jump and was eliminated again in the preliminary round in the hurdles sprint at the Junior World Championships .

In 2015 she took part in the European Indoor Championships in Prague over 400 meters and was eliminated in the first round. At the U23 European Championships in Tallinn , she won the gold medal in the 400-meter hurdles. At the World Championships in Beijing , she made it to the semi-finals . At the end of the season, she was seriously injured and was almost unable to compete in 2016.

In 2015 she became Swedish champion in the 400 meter hurdles, as well as indoor champion in the long jump in 2014 and in 2015 over the 400 meters.
