Eliteserien (chess) 2015/16

The Eliteserien 2015/16 (official name: Scandicserien 2015/16 ) was the tenth season of the Norwegian Eliteserien in chess .

Champion was the Vålerenga Sjakklubb before the Schakklubben av 1911 , while the defending champion Oslo Schakselskap had to be content with third place. The Trondheim Sjakkforening and the Sotra Sjakklubb had risen from the 1st divisjon ; both climbers had to relegate directly.

Game dates

The competitions took place on October 30th and 31st, November 1st, 2015, January 15th, 16th and 17th as well as March 4th, 5th and 6th 2016, with a fourth round competition due to the cancellation of a flight was moved to March 3rd and played on the Internet Chess Club server . All other competitions were held centrally in Oslo .
