Eliteserien (chess) 2014/15
The Eliteserien 2014/15 (official name: Codanserien 2014/15 ) was the ninth season of the Norwegian Eliteserien in chess .
Champion became the defending champion Oslo Schakselskap . Since the class was increased from ten to twelve teams, three teams were promoted from the 1st divisjon with the north beach Sjakklubb , the Tromsø Sjakklubb and the Stavanger Sjakklubb . While Tromsø and Stavanger achieved relegation, Nordstrand had to relegate together with SOSS Selvaagbygg , SK 96 Bergen and Akademisk Sjakklubb Oslo . (Since the Eliteserien will again be played with ten teams in the 2015/16 season, four teams had to be relegated.)

Game dates
The competitions took place on October 31, November 1 and 2, 2014, January 9, 10 and 11, February 7 and 8, March 6, 7 and 8, 2015. In the first three rounds two competitions were held in Bergen and four in Oslo , the other competitions were held centrally in Oslo. In the last three rounds, all parts of the Tromsø Sjakklubb, three batches of Stavanger Sjakklubb and one each batch of SOSS Selvaagbygg via Internet on the server of were Internet Chess Club played since players in question due to a strike in the Norwegian Air Shuttle not to To Oslo.
