Telioseries 2006/07

The Telioserien 2006/07 was the first season of the Norwegian elite series in chess , it was named after the main sponsor.

Norwegian team champion was Oslo Schakselskap , Trondheim Sjakkforening and Randaberg Sjakklubb had to relegate to the 1st divisjon . For the reported team squads of the participating clubs, see the team squad of the Telioserien 2006/07 .

Game dates

The competitions took place on November 10, 11 and 12, 2006, January 12, 13 and 14, March 9, 10 and 11, 2007. All competitions were held centrally in Oslo .

Season course

While the Oslo Schakselskap were practically established as champions two rounds before the end, the decision in the relegation battle was not made until the final round. The Asker Schakklubb and the Akademisk Sjakklubb Oslo were able to save themselves through victories , while the Trondheim Sjakkforening were relegated to the bottom of the table, Randaberg Sjakklubb .
