Elke Koska
Elke Koska (* 1947 or 1953 (?)) Is a German actress and art manager . In 1969 Koska met the future German action artist HA Schult , became his muse and manager and took part in many of his performance activities .
Life
After attending a nuns school, Koska began training at the drama school in Munich . Here she played with Rainer Werner Fassbinder and Hanna Schygulla in the Antiteater, among others . She has taken on roles in Fassbinder plays, television films and TV series. In 1968 she played the role of Jeanie at the side of Donna Summer in the German version of the musical Hair and reached number 4 on the charts with this production. In 1969 Koska met the artist Hans-Jürgen Schult, whom she married a little later.
She ended her acting career and devoted herself to the artistic actions and the organization of the performances of her husband and the staging of the HA Schult brand . He referred to Koska as his muse , and she herself became an integral part of his art activities. With flashy clothes, eye-catching red hair and eccentric make-up, she staged herself as an action artist for decades and also designed her own exhibitions. She became internationally known in 1996 with the HA-Schult project Trash People , which deals provocatively around the world with the growing affluent waste. She accompanied, managed and enabled HA Schult's art campaigns worldwide.
After the divorce from HA Schult after 25 years of marriage, she continues to work as his manager. Elke Koska received media attention through her unusual place of residence in Cologne on the ramp on the right bank of the Deutzer Brücke . In 2010 she had to move out of the windowless rooms, which she had lived in for 15 years, for renovation work on the bridge. Koska has an extensive collection of several thousand unusual teapots, cups and other everyday objects. She lives in Cologne-Rodenkirchen and got married two more times after divorcing Schult.
