The Emakumeen Euskal Bira ( bask. For dt .: "Mrs. Tour") was a stages - cycling race for women that year in June in the Basque Country was held. The race started as an amateur event in 1988, became a professional two-stage race in 1992 and expanded to five stages by 2007. One of the stages was always a double stage. It was a UCI category 2.1 race.

The record winner with three successes is the German Hanka Kupfernagel .

In September 2019 it was announced that the event of the year would be the last, as the event did not receive sufficient financial support from the Basque government, in contrast to the men's Clásica San Sebastián and the Tour of the Basque Country . The organizer Augustin Ruíz stated that this unequal treatment was unacceptable. According to the Basque government, however, a new women's race is planned from 2021.
