Emanuel Adrián Biancucchi Cuccitini (born July 28, 1988 in Rosario ) is an Argentine football player who also has Italian nationality. In 2018 he is under contract with FBC Melgar in Peru.

career

Biancucchi started playing football in the club relatively late. It wasn't until the age of 18 that he joined the Newell's Old Boys . In the summer of 2008, representatives of the German second division TSV 1860 Munich noticed him and brought Biancucchi to Grünwalder Strasse in Isarstadt. He was there for the U23 in the Regionalliga Süd . According to the DFB statute, however, no foreigners whose home country does not belong to the EU could be deployed there . Biancucchi, however, had Italian ancestors and so he applied for an Italian passport with which he would have been eligible to play for the U23. Like those responsible for the association, he assumed that the issue of the passport was purely a matter of form.

During the winter break of the 2008/09 season, however, he had not yet received the Italian passport, so it had not yet been used. In preparation for the second half of the season he played eight games for the U23s, but he did not make his first competitive appearance in the second half of the season either. Instead, he repeatedly trained with the professionals, where he would have been eligible to play without an Italian passport. After the end of the season he was used for the first time with the professionals, even if it was only a friendly game. In the summer preparation he was used in several U23 friendly matches.

On the first day of the new regional league season, Biancucchi finally played his first competitive game for the little lions . This was made possible by a special permit from the SFV and BFV . After this first assignment on August 7, 2009 against Hessen Kassel , he was also used two weeks later in the game against the second team of 1. FC Nürnberg . After that, however, the DFB withdrew his special permit. Since he was still waiting for his Italian passport to be issued, he has again not been eligible to play for the U23s.

He then trained exclusively with the pros of TSV 1860 and was used in three test matches in the following weeks. After he was part of the extended squad for the first time at the game in St. Pauli , he made his debut in professional football in the next league game on October 17, 2009, he was on the starting line-up against MSV Duisburg .

Biancucchi mostly plays in the attacking midfield, he himself gives the "10-position" as his favorite position . At the beginning of October 2009, coach Ewald Lienen certified him on the one hand particularly good ball control and the ability to play deadly passes, but on the other hand a susceptibility to fatal ball losses.

In the summer of 2010 he extended his expiring contract with the Munich Lions until 2012. At the end of October 2010 he finally received the Italian passport and is now an EU citizen.

In the following winter break, Biancucchi moved to the Spanish second division club FC Girona . However, he was not used there.

In the summer of 2011, Biancucchi ended his stay in Europe and returned to South America . There he signed a contract with the Paraguayan first division club and promoted Independiente de Campo Grande , in which he came in the 2011 season mostly as a substitute to ten missions in which he scored a goal. In the 2012 season he fought for a regular place and scored eight goals in 39 games. The club was relegated at the end of the year and Biancucchi joined Olimpia Asunción on a free transfer in January 2013 .
