Emanuel Lindner
Emanuel Lindner (born April 1, 1905 in Lucavica , Transylvania , † 1985 in Osnabrück ) was a German architect who was particularly active in classical modern industrial construction.
Life
Lindner completed training at the Bauhaus Dessau and Berlin from 1930 to 1934 a. a. with Ludwig Mies van der Rohe . From 1935 he worked as a freelance architect in Berlin. In 1946 he taught at the newly founded State University for Architecture and Fine Arts in Weimar, handicrafts and design; from 1949 he worked in Essen and Osnabrück , where he also held a professorship.
