Emil Fränger

Emil Fränger (born October 27, 1856 in Lambrecht (Palatinate) , † December 23, 1941 in Erlangen ) was a German administrative lawyer in Bavaria and mayor and honorary citizen of Erlangen.

Life

As a native of the Rhine Palatinate , Fränger studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . On October 1, 1875, he was one of the founders of the Fröhlich Pfalz , later the Corps Transrhenania Munich . After the university exam he came to Kusel as a trainee lawyer in 1880 , to Lauterecken in 1882 and to Zweibrücken in 1883 . After being at the 1883 German University of Administrative Sciences the State bankruptcy for Assessor had taken, he went as a certified legal intern for Lauterecken. In 1884 he became a certified legal and customs intern in Passau , and in 1885 in Landau (Palatinate) . In 1886 he came to Augsburg as a government accessist . In 1887 he became a legally qualified magistrate , in 1890 a legal counsel and in 1892 a legally qualified second mayor in Erlangen. Since 1913 Kgl. Bavarian Councilor, he was retired in the Weimar Republic on August 1, 1919 with the honorary citizenship of Erlangen.
