Emil Jermis
Emil Jermis (born February 19, 1896 in Berlin ; † December 27, 1973 there ) was a German politician ( SPD ).
Emil Jermis attended a community school and did an apprenticeship as a typesetter in Berlin from 1910 . In 1914 he joined the union. He was a soldier throughout the First World War . In 1919 Jermis joined the SPD and worked in the Weimar Republic as an administrative clerk at the Wedding and Pankow district offices . After the " seizure of power " by the National Socialists in 1933, he was disciplined and then worked as a teletype operator .
After the Second World War , Jermis worked at the Prenzlauer Berg district office . In the first Berlin election in 1946 , he was elected to the district assembly of Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg. A year later he was elected to the district council for labor in Prenzlauer Berg, but in 1948 Jermis was dismissed from the Soviet headquarters . He moved to West Berlin and then worked in the employment office in the district offices of Spandau and Neukölln . Since Walther G. Oschilewski resigned from the city council of Greater Berlin in March 1950 , Jermis moved into parliament for a few months. With the "law on representation of those who were prevented from voting in the House of Representatives of March 27, 1951" he was able to move up to the House of Representatives in Berlin in July 1951 . At the end of 1954 he left the House of Representatives.
