Emile Cardinal Biayenda (born 1927 in Mpongala , Republic of the Congo , † March 23, 1977 in Brazzaville ) was Archbishop of Brazzaville .

Life

After studying Catholic theology in Brazzaville and Lyon, Emile Biayenda received the sacrament of ordination on October 26, 1958 from the Archbishop of Brazzaville, Michel-Jules-Joseph-Marie Bernard CSSp . He was a parish chaplain from 1959 to 1965 and 1969 to 1970. From 1965 to 1969 he was Episcopal Vicar of the Archdiocese of Brazzaville.

Pope Paul VI appointed him titular archbishop of Garba in 1970 and appointed him coadjutor archbishop in Brazzaville.
